Interface Pin Definition
Pin1, NC, No connection.
Pin2, VCC, Power source for voltage driven by the panel.
Pin3, VCOMH, COM voltage level deselected for the signal.
Pin4, IREF, The segment output current reference pin is this pin.
Pin13, RD#, operates as the Enable (E) signal when interfacing with a 6800-series microprocessor. Read/write operations kick off when pulling this pin HIGH and selecting the chip. For connection to an 8080-microprocessor, this pin receives the Read (RD#) signal, initiating read operations when pulled LOW and the chip is selected. In serial interface mode, this pin must be linked to VSS.
Pin14, WR#, serves as the read/write control input pin for MCU interface. When interfacing with a 6800-series microprocessor, it acts as the Read/Write (R/W#) selection input, conducting read mode when pulled HIGH and write mode when LOW. In 8080 interface mode, this pin functions as the Write (WR#) input. Data write operations begin when pulling this pin LOW and selecting the chip. In serial interface mode, this pin should connect to VSS.
Pin15, D/C#, is the Data/Command data control pin. Low denotes command, while high signifies data.
Pin16, RES#, functions as the reset signal input. When the pin is LOW, chip initialization occurs. It’s crucial to keep this pin HIGH (connected to VDD) during normal operation.
Pin17, CS#, acts as the chip select pin, with an active low configuration.
Pin18, NC, signifies no connection.
Pin19, BS2, represents MCU bus interface selection pins. Refer to the accompanying table for detailed settings.
Pin20, BS1, also denotes MCU bus interface selection pins. Refer to the accompanying table for detailed settings.
Pin21, VDD, serves as the logic voltage supply for the IC.
Pin22~Pin29, NC, indicate no connection.
Pin30, VSS, stands for Ground.
Pin31, NC, represents no connection.
